Can I share my session with someone else?
Of course! Just let us know how many people and how many songs/scenes you want to film.
How long can my song cuts be?
Think “audition cut”. In general, aim for 1-1.5 minutes but don’t worry about counting the seconds! There’s always room to extend if the material demands it. This is part of our online consultation and we will help you find the perfect cut.
What material works best for singing reels?
The choice is yours! We recommend that you choose material that focuses on story telling and fits perfectly in your range. Show the industry what you can do, rather than what you can’t.
Who will be in my singing reel session?
Our standard package requires a camera operator, a director and musical director. Estelle, our session host will also be on hand to welcome you and ensure you have everything you need during your shoot.
What do I wear for my singing reel?
Just like when you get new headshots, bring options. Avoid busy patterns or straight lines. Logos and brands can also be distracting.
Will I get directed in my singing reel?
That is up to you! We believe in collaboration, but this is your reel. We want to showcase your work and give you the platform to create. We respect your time and want you to be in control.
Can I get support with music preparation and cuts?
Yes! That’s part of the package. Your musical director will be able to assist in cutting your song and making sure you have everything you need to prep for your session if you’re not confident with cutting music.
How long do singing reel edits take?
We aim to have your reel back to you within two weeks. During this process we will share updates and give you the opportunity to feedback on your chosen take.
Do you use auto tune?
We celebrate honest and authentic showreels. None of our reels will be auto tuned.
Is the session refundable?
All our sessions are non refundable. They can be transferable to another person, but not refunded.

How long can my scenes be?
1-2 pages works best. That’s usually about 1-2 minutes.
How long can my monologues be?
That’s up to you! 1-2 minutes is usually the sweet spot.
Will I get directed in my showreel?
That is up to you! We believe in collaboration, but this is your reel. We want to showcase your work and give you the platform to create. We respect your time and want you to be have input into your reels.

Can i add my current showreel material into my new one?
Sure - just send it across to us!

Can I write my own script?
There are no rules! We’ll have a script consultation to work out what you want to create. Bring a script, or write your own. Need help? We can write one with you.
How long is the session?
Roughly 2 hours per scene. A monologue session will last for 45/60 minutes.
Can i split the session with a friend?
Yes of course!
What about locations?
We’re based in Elephant & Castle. We can shoot internal scenes in our studio, or we can find an external location that suits your scene, just let us know what you’re looking for.
